Mudsock Youth Baseball Rec+ (Fishers Rails) Baseball Spring 2026.
The league will form teams at 8U, 10U (9- and 10-year-olds), and 12U (11-and 12-year-olds). This is a great program for rec families who are interested in Travel Baseball, but the cost and/or time commitment are a barrier to making the transition. The Rec+ program could also be a good fit for families who want a taste of what Travel Baseball is like, without having to make the full commitment. If your child is ready for a higher level of competition than traditional Rec baseball, and also interested in playing additional games, Rec+ might just be what you have been looking for.
What is Rec+?
Rec+ is an extension of the regular Rec season. There will be additional practices during the Rec season, and teams will play in three to four tournaments (approximately 12 games) after the Rec season concludes. As this is a more competitive program with limited space, we will hold tryouts to determine the makeup of the teams.
Do I need to be signed up for Rec to tryout for Rec+?
Yes, registration is currently open at myathletics.com. Players will pay a $50 non-refundable try out fee. Please note, you must be registered to play Rec spring baseball to try out for Rec+.

Tentative Tournament Schedule
We anticipate tournament weekends being:
• June 26 – June 28
• July 3 – July 5
• July 10 – July 12
• July 17 – July 19
These dates are based on current tournament availability and will be finalized once teams are formed. While it is possible a tournament could be added July 24 – July 26, that is considered unlikely at this time.
Practices
Your child’s Rec season and Rec team commitments will always take priority over Rails. To help support that balance, Rails practices will initially be held on Sundays. Practice times and field assignments will be determined by each coach.Tournaments will not begin until after the Rec season concludes. Once tournament play begins, practices will shift to one weeknight per week at Billericay, with details again determined by each coaching staff.

How much will it cost?
There will be a $50 non-refundable tryout fee. For those placed on a team, the program fee is $350.
